Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
North York, ONWe are proud to be partnering with Mevotech, a trusted North American aftermarket automotive parts leader that specializes in the engineering, design and distribution of driveline, steering and suspension parts (branded and private label). That growth has contributed to the need for a new Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”). This is a key Business Partnering role, working with functional heads across the organization to build action plans, provide performance feedback, and mitigate risk in achieving corporate objectives.
The role reports to the Vice President, FP&A, and leads a team of three. Key responsibilities include leading the forecasting and budgeting cycles and reporting across the organization; leading sales planning & reporting; leading monthly and quarterly analysis of performance; leading profitability analysis, across product lines, distribution channels, and customers; managing the capital expenditure planning process; and supporting the Leadership team in ad-hoc work like M&A analysis. Overall, the scope is very broad, and the roll has the ability to have a significant impact on corporate performance.

- 5+ years of FP&A leadership in a relevant and similar role
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills – experience modeling and using BI and dashboarding tools would be an asset
- A CPA or MBA designation would be valued
- Exemplary player/coach skills – collaboration, coaching, training
- Strong communication and effective influencing skills
