This partnership positions Spectra Confectionery to accelerate its growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. To achieve these goals and meet the sophisticated reporting and operational standards of its new ownership, the company is seeking its first internal Head of Finance to lead a transformative financial evolution.
Currently operating on a cash-accounting basis through an external accounting firm, Spectra requires a Head of Finance to evaluate existing systems and execute a strategic transition to U.S. GAAP accrual accounting. This transformation will establish the foundation for robust financial management, reporting, and compliance to address owner, lender, and statutory requirements.
The Head of Finance will also build a high-performing team, deliver critical business insights, and serve as a trusted collaborator across the organization. Ideal Candidate Profile
Professional Designation: CPA or equivalent education.
Manufacturing Experience: Proven expertise in leading reporting and analytical functions within manufacturing operations.
Cash Flow Management: Skilled in cash flow oversight, lender relations, and currency management.
Team Leadership: Successful track record in building and mentoring high-performing finance teams.
Private Equity: Experience reporting to PE ownership or similar investors is an asset.
M&A Integration: Familiarity with integrating acquisitions is advantageous.
Systems Implementation: Hands-on experience with ERP or financial reporting system implementations is preferred.
