Riley Farber’s executive search practice has partnered with a growing, North American customized manufacturer of products and aftermarket services within sport facilities, educational establishments and the public facilities market, in the search for their new Chief Revenue Officer to be based out of their head office in Southern Ontario.
The business is growing and evolving and to continue this journey and enable our client to reach its full potential, they are searching for an exceptional and motivated Chief Revenue Officer to join their team. As they create the next generation of products and services, they are looking for this leader to strategically align and continue building on their foundation and commitments to their clients. This role demonstrates our client’s commitment to focus on their growth and future success.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Revenue Officer will play a crucial role in strategically influencing and driving their growth agenda by identifying opportunities, building and maintaining strategic partnerships, and executing initiatives to achieve business objectives.
The new leader will need to immediately step up and ‘own’ the revenue generation arm of our client, selling new projects, instilling confidence in clients in their capabilities, investigating new opportunities to pursue, and leading a team that is looking for expertise and guidance.
To be successful in this, you will possess the following:
• Minimum post-secondary degree in business, engineering or related technical discipline with extensive technical and administrative experience. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 7-10 years’ progressive experience in business development, sales, marketing in a managerial or executive leadership role
• History of growing high-paced capital goods equipment organizations, with an emphasis on aftermarket services and industrial distribution models
• Experience selling to organizations within the sports infrastructure, education or public facilities sector and brings a strong network of contacts. Canada, US and International experience and contacts are an asset
• Demonstrated behavioural competencies in leadership, building trust, innovative, intelligent, and self-motivated curiosity, a collaborative team player with high degree of executive presence, business acumen with exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills
